Khustai nature reserve is home to amazing wildlife in Mongolia and particularly for wild horses, Takhi. The park was established welcoming the reintroduction of the wild horses back into its motherland in 1993. Today the park is home to a great number of wild animals as deer, wolf, fox, marmot and many more. Some of them will be just grazing around you. There are now more than five hundred wild horses that form a growing population. The park is about a two hour drive from Ulaanbaatar and its convenient location makes it easier to do one or two day trip to the reserve.
